Rockin’ the Fields of Minnedosa returns!

Hey, everybody! Reader here, and I know all the snow we got over the weekend (and that’s in the forecast over the next couple of days), is a reminder that winter is on its way.

But if you were listening this morning, we had something to get you looking forward to summer. Rob Waloschuk, of Performance Promotions joined Grayson and I, to unveil the initial lineup for the upcoming edition of Rockin’ the Fields of Minnedosa, set for August 1-3, 2025. What a great lineup – and that’s just the initial run of bands, with more to be added.

As Rob mentioned, there are two bands they’ve been trying to get for years now, and in 2025, Loverboy and the Headstones will hit the main stage!

Sunday night headliner Loverboy are a hit machine, ruling the airwaves throughout the 80’s, with hits like “Turn Me Loose,” “The Kid is Hot Tonite,” “Workin’ for the Weekend,” “Hot Girls in Love,” and one of my personal faves:

You know they’ll put on a great show, and so will the Headstones, who close out the main stage on the Saturday!

But that’s not all!

Glass Tiger returns, to celebrate their 40th anniversary by closing out Friday night’s festivities! The were one of the headliners in 2017, and were fantastic!

Alan Frew and Glass Tiger has the Minnedosa crowd rockin’ in 2017!

They put on a heck of a show, with all the big hits, including “Someday,” “Don’t Forget Me (When I’m Gone),” “My Town,” ” I Will Be There,” and this beauty right here:

There’s a ton of classic Canadian rock taking the stage throughout the weekend, including Trooper – and you know they’ll be playing what may be one of our country’s unofficial national anthems…

Glass Tiger and Trooper will be joined on the main stage Friday night by Haywire, who had big hits with “Bad Bad Boy,” “Standing In Line,” and “Dance Desire”

Now, Headstones will wrap up Saturday’s action on the main stage, and they’ll be joined by Bif Naked and I Mother Earth.

Bif will get the place jumping with “Spaceman,” and the high-energy “Moment of Weakness!”

I Mother Earth were one of the headliners at Rockin’ the Fields in 2017, when they reunited with original lead singer Edwin, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their awesome “Scenery and Fish” album, which included the hit “OneMore Astronaut.”

Edwin and I Mother Earth celebrated 20 years of “Scenery and Fish” at Rockin’ the Fields in 2017!

And last, but not least Saskatchewan’s own Streetheart will be part of the Sunday night lineup. Despite the passing of legendary frontman Kenny Shields in 2017, the band soldiers on, rocking fans wherever they go, with classics like “Here Comes the Night,” “What Kind of Love is This?,” their cover of the Stones’ “Under My Thumb,” and this banger, “Hollywood!”

Don’t forget – there’s more bands to be announced over the coming months, but the biggest party of the summer is shaping up to be a great time on the shores of Lake Minnedosa!

If you’re looking for tickets, if you bought tickets for last year’s festival, you’ll get the first crack at tickets through the presale which starts tomorrow (Tues. Nov. 19/24).

Tickets go onsale to the general public on December 6th, and I’m just saying, you can’t go wrong by giving the gift of live Rock ‘n’ Roll for Christmas!

Don’s miss out – it’s gonna be a blast!
