The Saskatchewan High School Regional Basketball Championships were held across the province this past weekend, and a number of local teams qualified for this upcoming weekend’s Hoopla 2025 provincial tournament.

In the Regional Finals,

1A GIRLS:

Number 1 seeded Preeceville beat Central Butte 90-20

Number 3 seeded Foam Lake over Hepburn 64-55.

HOOPLA matchups: Preeceville will take on Kerrobert, while Foam Lake battles Kenaston

2A GIRLS:

Number 3 seeded Norquay over LCBI 74-38.

HOOPLA matchup:  Norquay against Wilkie

3A GIRLS:

Top-seeded Wynyard over Maple Creek 80-40

Second-seeded Indian Head over Birch Hills 86-53. 

HOOPLA matchup:  Wynyard vs. Regina Christian School and Indian Head vs. Lanigan

1A BOYS:

Top-ranked Preeceville over Kenaston 83-38

HOOPLA matchup: Preeceville vs. Leask

2A BOYS:

Second-seeded Norquay over Birch Hills 62-52
HOOPLA matchup:  Norquay vs. Saskatoon Christian School
