Yorkton Terriers earn seventh straight win after road victory in Melville on New Year’s Day

Captain Jaron Desnoyers led the way with two goals and two assists to help the Yorkton Terriers kick off 2025 with a 7-4 road victory over the Melville Millionaires on Wednesday afternoon.

Keenan Ingram also scored twice for the Terriers, who got single markers from Tylan Henrikson, Thomas Ries and Jeff Hammond while David Coyle chipped in with three helpers.

The Millionaires were led offensively by defenceman Liam Rodman who had a goal & two assists while Gaborik Carlson, Edward Knittig and Simon Parini also hit the back of the net.

Terriers netminder Callum Creig made 29 saves on 33 shots to earn his 11th win of the season, while Mils got 23 saves on 28 shots in the loss.

The Terriers return to action on Friday night hosting the Estevan Bruins, while Millionaires hit the ice again on Friday visiting the Melfort Mustangs.
