Hey, everybody! Reader here, and I just wrapped the first of four days down at the Gallagher Centre, where I’m on location for the Yorkton Exhibition $100,000 Cash Lottery.
The crew working the phones were busy all day, as our listeners called in to make sure to get their tickets, to have a shot at the cash prizes. How much is up for grabs? Have a look below, for all the details on the prizes, as well as how you can get your tickets!
You can also stop in at the Yorkton Exhibition Office, located within the Gallagher Centre, at 455 Broadway Street West, and grab your tickets in person.
Talking about what a person could do with a hundred grand really gets the imagination going.
If I had to choose, a few things come to mind.
Firstly, I’d probably do the most responsible thing, and clear off my debt load. I think we all have various debts to pay, and I’d like to take care of mine in one fell swoop, and instantly relieve that burden.
Beyond that, I could simply put the rest in the bank. Maybe invest a bit and see if I could make it grow, and build a little nest egg for the future, to take care of myself, as I grow into an old man.
Those are the responsible things.
But there are also the things I’d really love to do!
First off, I’d take a trip to Philadelphia during hockey season, and see my beloved Flyers hit the ice in their home arena. Ideally, I’d find a week when they play two or three games at home, and go to them all, subsisting on a constant diet of cheesesteaks while I’m there. If the NFL’s Eagles (my second favourite team, behind the Tennessee Titans) happened to have a home game while I was there, even better!
Now, beyond a sports trip to the City of Brotherly Love, I’d really love to take an even bigger trip, and journey to my dream destination – Japan!
Japan is a country where tradition and the future seem to intersect like nowhere else.
The tradition, culture and food of Japan interest me, as much as the technology and innovation, and I’d love to experience it myself some day.
There are definitely other things I’d do with the $100,000, like help my Mom and Dad finish work on the house at the farm, or upgrade my vehicle.
You’re really only limited by your imagination!
Anyhoo, remember – there are only three more days to get your tickets for the Yorkton Exhibition $100,000 Cash Lottery. The ticket deadline is 6 p.m. this Friday, and if you don’t get your tickets before then, you’re going to be out of luck.
The draw is coming up on Monday, December 9th, at 1 p.m..
Who will be the lucky winner? Maybe you! Maybe me!
Good luck to everyone who gets a ticket!
