A 16-year-old male youth from Swan River faces a charge of second-degree murder after a homicide over the weekend in the town.
At about 11 p.m. Friday, Mounties responded to a report of an unresponsive man in Legion Park in Swan River.
The 21-year-old Brandon man had obvious injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
A second 16-year-old male from the town has also been arrested and both youths have been remanded into custody.
The victim and suspects were known to each other as this was not a random attack.
