Foreigner was officially inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on October 19. Original members Lou Gramm, Al Greenwood, and Rick Wills were there to accept the honor, though founding guitarist Mick Jones and drummer Dennis Elliott were absent. Sammy Hagar inducted the band, praising their hit “Jukebox Hero” as one of the best rock vocal performances ever. Gramm reflected on his time with FOREIGNER, highlighting his partnership with Jones and paying tribute to late bandmates Ian McDonald and Ed Gagliardi. Wills and Greenwood also expressed gratitude to the fans and the Hall of Fame.

The night included an all-star tribute performance, featuring Hagar, Slash, Demi Lovato, Chad Smith, and Kelly Clarkson. Lovato sang “Feels Like The First Time,” and Hagar joined in for “Hot Blooded.” Gramm and Clarkson later performed a duet of “I Want To Know What Love Is.”
