CITY ACCEPTING 2024 GRANT APPLICATIONS

The City of Melville is now accepting grant applications for the 2024 year from local non-profit organizations.  

The 2024 grant application deadline is 12 Noon on April 19th & applications received after this date will not receive consideration.

RONDEAU TAKES OVER DEPUTY MAYOR DUTIES

The City of Melville have a new Deputy Mayor.

Councillor Andrew Rondeau will be taking the reins from Councillor Joe Kirwan, who has been Deputy Mayor since last July.

Rondeau’s term as Deputy will run now until Nov 13th of this year.

In the Cities Act, all members of Council, except the Mayor, serve an 8 month term with the order based on the quantity of votes received in the last civic election, starting with the highest.
