Tim Hortons is celebrating their 60th anniversary, and they brought back some of their iconic retro donuts! The Dutchie, Blueberry Fritter, Walnut Crunch and the Cinnamon Sugar Twist.

So, Reader and I decided to embark on a delicious adventure and try out all four of these mouth-watering treats. And let me tell you, it was a tough job, but someone had to do it! ?

First up, we had the Dutchie. Oh, the nostalgia! This classic donut instantly transported me back to my childhood. Its soft and fluffy texture, combined with the delicious raisins and sweet glaze, made it an absolute delight. Reader and I both agreed that the Dutchie deserved a solid second place on our ranking list.

Next, we indulged in the Walnut Crunch. Now, this donut was a game-changer! The combination of the perfectly crunchy walnuts and the smooth glaze was simply irresistible. Reader ranked this one as his third favorite. For me, though, it landed in fourth place, but that’s just because my taste buds were more inclined towards other flavors.

Now, let me tell you about the Blueberry Fritter! Oh my goodness, this sweet treat stole our hearts and taste buds. Bursting with that blueberry filling and covered in a heavenly glaze, this fritter was a definite winner for both of us. In fact, it claimed the top spot on our list of favorites! The Blueberry Fritter was like a party in our mouths, and we couldn’t get enough of it.

Last but certainly not least, we tried the Sugar Cinnamon Twist. This donut had a unique flavor profile, with its delicate balance of sweet sugar and aromatic cinnamon. While Reader ranked it as his fourth, I actually enjoyed it and placed it in third on my personal ranking. It just goes to show that taste preferences can vary from person to person!

All in all, our Tim Hortons retro donut adventure was an absolute blast! These limited-edition donuts not only brought back cherished childhood memories but also introduced us to new flavors that we couldn’t resist.
