Yorkton City Council has rejected a proposed plan for a new airport terminal. 

The proposed plan for the new terminal came in at just over 2.75 Million, 70% over what the city budgeted for. 

Council will now go back to the drawing board with the city, and come up with a new plan as soon as possible.

Yorkton Mayor Mitch Hippsley acknowledged the deserving class of 2023 for the Yorkton Sports Hall of Fame.

The 2013/14 national champion Yorkton Terriers , along with five athletes have been inducted into the Yorkton Sports Hall of Fame. curler coach and builder Gerry Adam, curler Steven Laycock, synchronized swimmer Madison Neufeld, golfer Kathy Ziglo were among those inducted this past weekend.
